An interesting article appeared in this mornings papers regarding the growing phenomenon of cyber schools. As ExamVillage launches in Ireland hoping to replicate the success of Megastudy in Korea, one must wonder what the potential would hold for cyber schools in the future. A number of tutors for Megastudy have made in excess of $1 million per year with the highest earner pocketing a cool $8 million for his years work. These teachers really are the celebrities of the teaching world in Korea and dwarf the $40k earnings of those in normal schools.
